Fire resistance installation cables
A fire-resistant cable is a cable that continues to function for a certain period of time when exposed to open fire. The fire resistance of the cable is ensured by thermally resistant mica tapes that do not spread fire to the cores, insulation made of heat-resistant materials (silicon, silicone), PVC sheaths of low flammability or containing no halogens.
Such features of the wire make it possible to maintain the power supply to fire protection, warning, signal and other important systems of the building and ensure the safe evacuation of people.
Fire-resistant power cable is used in facilities with increased fire safety requirements. This:
- medical institutions;
- residential buildings;
- industrial enterprises;
- shopping and entertainment complexes;
- nuclear power plants;
- subways;
- other objects of mass gathering of people.
